  1. Visual inspection of door panels for damage, cracks, or warping

  7. Tighten loose bolts, nuts, and screws
  8. Inspect and lubricate hinges
  9. Check track alignment (horizontal and vertical)
  10. Clean tracks of dust, dirt, and debris
  11. Lubricate springs, rollers, hinges, and bearings
  12. Lubricate opener drive (chain, belt, or screw)
  13. Check perimeter weatherstripping for gaps or damage
  14. Inspect bottom seal for wear or rodent intrusion
  15. Perform manual balance test (door should stay halfway open)
  16. Check door alignment with garage floor
  17. Inspect and clean safety sensors (photo eyes)
  18. Test auto-reverse safety function
  19. Test wall control panel and remote operation
  20. Check backup battery status (if applicable)
  21. Inspect opener mounting and hardware
  22. Test emergency release handle
  23. Listen for unusual noises during operation
  24. Inspect opener light and replace bulb if needed
  25. Provide maintenance report
